Blue Limeade

Alt-Sol

CLASS: S/H

GENOTYPE: ((Blue Dream X Cookies) X Duct Tape) X Tahiti Lime

PHENOTYPE: Trichome-Heavy, Dense, Glistening, Dry Cure, Golden Hues, White Pearlescence

OVERALL RATING: A

Appearance

Appearance-wise, Blue Limeade is well-put-together. The buds are dense, and the trichomes are robust, really clinging to the nug’s structure. There’s a green base underneath, but it’s heavily tinted by that thick layer of trichomes, giving it a slightly washed look overall. It broke down easily, and while some pickier consumers may find it a little drier than other Alt-Sol strains, it doesn’t hurt the experience at all. If anything, it contributes to how clean it burns. The burn itself was exceptional.

Aroma

When you first open the jar, the aroma is gassier than expected. There is also this subtle, almost fizzy quality sitting behind it that comes and goes. It’s not overly sweet or overly fruity, but there’s just enough to keep you curious and enticed.

Taste

The taste aims to bring Blue Limeade’s elusive, spicy-fruit aroma to life. On the inhale, you get a light berry-like fizz, but it doesn’t fully take over. It’s layered with hints of musk and pine, rounding everything out and keeping it grounded. It’s not as sweet as the name suggests, but it’s balanced.

Effects

Blue Limeade does incredibly well here.

It settles in quickly and feels like a true sativa-leaning hybrid. There’s a noticeable tightness around the cheeks and a pressure behind the eyes that gives it a focused edge, but that focus isn’t always consistent. You may also feel some tightness and tingling around the cheeks, which is an easy recipe for giggles.

There are moments when you feel locked in, and others when your mind drifts. It’s not the best option for long, drawn-out tasks. There’s a subtle pull toward rest that can creep in over time, even though it never fully becomes sedating. Where it really shines is stress relief. For people who tend to overthink, this is the kind of strain that slows things down without completely taking you out of the experience. You still feel present, just more at ease.
