Most cookie strains tend to have a very sweet and robust terpene profile complimented by a euphoric long-lasting experience. They are delectable and potent. In this instance, Viper Cookies holds only one of these characteristics but adds its own kick to compensate.

What Viper Cookies lacks in flavor, it makes up for in smoothness and undeniable potency. Compared to its sister strains, Viper Cookies has a personality that’s all its own. Viper Cookies is a powerhouse cross of two heavy hitters: Forum Cut Cookies and Viper City OG. Unpopular opinion, I have never been a fan of the Forum Cut Cookies. Yes, I know that it’s a phenotype of the infamous GSC, but it always had this earthy garlic taste to me. Effects tend to be great of course, but personally, the smoking experience made it harder to pick back up. Viper Cookies leaves garlic out of the recipe and solely adopts Forum Cut’s caryophyllene heavy profile and fog-like effects.
Viper City OG is the real gem in Viper cookies’ genetic profile; acting as the root of its sedative tendencies. Within two pulls, my eyes were heavy as an anvil, and I was looking at my joint like “maybe I should only smoke half of you”. I could feel Viper Cookies’ weight on me in seconds.
In one instance, I was smoking outside in the cold; which isn’t uncommon, but I usually don’t feel any pronounced effects until I return to the warmth. Viper Cookies is so potent that I felt it shiver down my spine through the cold stabbing rain. My feet disappeared from under me.
Eventually, as you feel more heaviness across your eyes, your body may continue to sink further before you encounter a deep restful sleep. I have been eating melatonin like candy to combat insomnia, and Viper Cookies gave me some of the best sleep I have had in a long time.
Be mindful of eating this Cookie for breakfast though. I smoked Viper Cookies only once in the morning and fought sleep until noon; eventually crashing into the early evening. I intended to get this review out MUCH sooner. Viper Cookies performs as an absolute knock-out artist while remaining a master of subtlety.
Unlike most Indicas that are this sedative and heavy, Viper Cookies trances you; reeling you in with a smooth inhale and a peppery taste that you simply can’t put your finger on. By the time you do, this strain can have you hanging it up for the day in no time. It is easy for even the most experienced Indica smokers to appreciate the relaxation Viper Cookies can provide.
